Dear Visitors,

very often too little attention is given to the topic shrimp illnesses. Usually the loss of single shrimps is lead back to wrong conditions or poisoning, but this is only a part of the truth. Exactly like fishes, shrimps can get diseases!

Since 2003 we examine sick shrimps again and again. Our request with this web page was it at that time and is it even today to share our experiences and our produced realizations.

Since the beginning we were supported by Mr. Pagels, a specialist for adornment fish illnesses, by the bede publishing house through Dr. Juergen Schmidt, recently by Dipl.-Biol. Heiko Blessin, by JBL with which we stand in a close contact and finally Dr. Frank Mutschmann, who already saw the one or another shrimp under his microscope.
