Medications

It is generally known that forward bending is better than to be cured. If medicines should be unavoidable once you should remove the shrimps from the basin or treat the fishes outside the aquarium. The shrimps can be set back to the basin after a partial water change as well as a filtering over active carbon.

If that is not possible you can use some proven medicines. Do not use any copper containing medicine in any case. You can find medicines in the following table that are harmless and/or dangerous for shrimps.

The risk of an application keeps on being left at everyone himself. The medicines that are mentioned below were tested by us and they are also proved by other shrimp holders and breeders.

In spite of our own tests of the medicines we will not take any liability since in the case of an application of medicines some other factors as the pH-value and other water parameters still play an important role. And please remember, these parameters are differently at every holder.
